LUNCH - PRAISE & WORSHIP - SESSION 2 BY FR ALOY

Lunch was packed rice, with veg, chicken and steamed egg in a nice stylo plastic bento box. (What happened to good old styrofoam?) Thanks to Denyse, we were all well fed throughout the day. To perk us up after lunch and to get into the mood again, David led us through a Praise & Worship session with Jo (keyboard) and Shawn (guitar). This was followed by Fr Aloy's second session, which involved a little poem writing.

OUTDOOR ACTIVITY #2 - THE CROSSING

The scene: Two groups of missionaries were out to spread the Word to the savage lands. A volcano erupted and created a hot sea of lava between them and their destination. The only way to get across was to use the "hardly sufficient" pieces of heat-resistant transport pads. But that's not all, the books of the bible have been swept away by the lava and the missionaries must reclaim the books (strangely heat-resistant) before stepping foot onto the savage lands.

EGG DROP - PART 1 (CONSTRUCTION)

"For to His angels He's given a command
To guard you in all of your ways;
Upon their hands they will bear you up,
Lest you dash your foot against a stone."
(Adapted from Psalm 91)

God holds us and keeps us safe in the palm of His Hand. Can you do the same for a fragile egg? See page 3 for "judgement day".
