Somewhere in Aug '00, a bunch of us disappeared to Kukup for seafood, durians & a lil shopping.

Gathered at a jetty in Malaysia after a boring coach ride with our tour guide "Baby", we were all set to conquer the oceans, kelongs, durians and whatsoever. Oh...look at that excitement on our faces... I bet Paula was humming "Roll over the oceans, roll over the seas,...lah lah lah lah..." Check out those funky colored veins in the oh-so-transparent ikan bilis. Just too bad that they ended up as bait for the infamous "spitting" fish. Wanna know how fish pond water tastes like? Ask Lynette...
Camera shy? No way... it's not everyday that you get to wear those sporty looking berms right Molly? Lynette realises that the durians go down faster when she eats them while standing. It's a durian lunch buffet by the way. The rest of us? Sorry, a bit S L O W. WARNING!!! Hungry people are angry people. Look out for buzzing houseflies and Mei's "Shen Long Shi Ba Zhang". What's that? Go read your gongfu novels...
Billy's philiosophy: Look cool first, eat durians later. Oops... someone should warn the durian vendors before things get ugly. Oh no.. too late. Mei's got hold of the durian shell...
After seeing lots of durian, it's nice to put fellow fruits in the limelight for a change. Hairy rambutans anyone?
